Who can use Campendio

You must be at least 13 years old. If you’re under 18, you need a parent or guardian’s permission, and they must agree to these terms on your behalf before purchasing a subscription.

Your account

Keep your login details secure and let us know if you think someone else has accessed your account. You’re responsible for activity under your account.

Subscriptions and billing

• Campendio has a free plan and a paid Explorer plan, billed monthly or annually. Current prices are shown on our pricing page before you buy.
• Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the then-current price, until you cancel. We’ll give you advance notice of any price change.
• You can cancel anytime from Settings in the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep paid features until then.
• Payments are non-refundable, including for partially used periods, except where required by law. If something went wrong, email us — we’ll try to make it right.
• Payments are processed by Stripe and are also subject to Stripe’s terms.

Your content

You own the recipes, photos, plans, and other content you add to Campendio. You give us permission to store, process, and display that content only as needed to run the service for you (for example, showing your recipes on your devices or creating a share link you request). Only add content you have the right to use — for instance, don’t upload someone else’s photos or copy a published cookbook wholesale.

Acceptable use

Please don’t:

• break the law or infringe anyone else's rights;
• try to access other users' data, or probe, disrupt, or overload the service;
• scrape or copy the recipe library or other parts of the service in bulk;
• resell the service or share paid access outside your own use.

Our content

The Campendio app, its design, and the recipe library we provide belong to us and our licensors. You may use them for your personal, non-commercial planning and cooking.

AI features

Some features use artificial intelligence to read recipes from photos or links, draft recipes, or suggest shopping items. AI output can be wrong or incomplete — always review it before relying on it, especially ingredient quantities and allergens.

Food safety and the outdoors

Recipes, cooking instructions, gear lists, weather information, and other content in Campendioare for general planning and information only. You’re responsible for safe food handling and storage, checking ingredients for allergies and dietary needs, and following safe cooking practices. Outdoor activities carry real risks — check official conditions, fire restrictions, and regulations for where you’re going, and use your own judgment. We’re not responsible for illness, injury, or loss arising from your cooking or outdoor activities.

Ending your use

You can stop using Campendioand ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or put the service or other users at risk. We may also change or discontinue features; if we shut down a paid service entirely, we’ll refund any prepaid, unused portion of your subscription.

Disclaimers

Campendiois provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we don’t promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Adventure X LLCwon’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data or profits. Our total liability for any claim relating to Campendiois limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $50. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, except where your local law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material, we’ll update the date above and notify you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Campendio after that means you accept the updated terms.
